Discover Your Library Day

As part of the National Year of Reading we're inviting you to celebrate Discover Your Library Day on the 4th of June. Libraries aren't just about books; they are places to connect, learn, create and discover. Explore our events pages for more information about our regular and one off events and activities.

The words ‘HiVis 2026 1st to 14th June’ sit above an illustration of an eye that has a diagonal line through the centre. One half of the eye has lines through it. This symbol is often used to communicate visual impairment. A square border surrounds all. The words, image and border are in black, highly contrasted against the bright yellow background.
HiVis fortnight 2026

Taking place across the first two weeks of June, HiVis fortnight gives libraries across the UK the opportunity to highlight services and support for those with a visual impairment.
