On East Sussex Community Information website, you can find community groups, organisations, clubs, services, local and virtual events.
English Learning Pathway
Free support for English Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) to improve their English reading, writing, speaking and listening, suited to all ability levels.
Reading Friends
Delivered in partnership with the Reading Agency, Reading Friends brings people together to read, share stories, meet new friends and have fun.
Rhymetimes - Storytimes
Babies, toddlers and their parents or carers can have fun singing, playing musical instruments and learning rhymes in our libraries. These events are free of charge.
Digital library
East Sussex libraries subscribe to thousands of online books, audiobooks, magazines, newspapers, and research resources.

Periodbank at East Sussex libraries is helping to tackle period poverty in East Sussex by providing donated period and hygiene products to anyone who needs them.

In-Library Tablet Loans
Try out using a tablet, browse the internet or discover our Digital Library with access to thousands of e-books, audiobooks, magazines, newspapers, and comics for free!
Tablets are loaned for 2 hours, to be used within the library building only and returned to the desk before leaving. Full library membership is required before loaning.
Available now at Battle, Bexhill, Crowborough, Eastbourne, Hailsham, Hampden Park, Hastings, Heathfield, Lewes, Newhaven, Peacehaven, Rye, Seaford, and Uckfield Libraries. Book your tablet
