Libraries offer an ideal space for working and studying, either collaboratively or alone. Explore the options below to find out more.

Bookable study space

Bookable study spaces are available at the following libraries: Crowborough, Eastbourne, Lewes, Peacehaven and Uckfield.

Drop-in study space

Many East Sussex libraries offer drop-in space for work and study.

Library membership is not required to use these spaces or to visit the libraries.

Privacy Pods

Our Privacy Pods offer the ideal space for quiet work and study. The pods are particularly useful when confidentiality is required.

To book a pod you need to be member of the library. Not a member? Click here to register now.
Please note: Privacy Pods are available during library opening hours and are bookable for one 2-hour slot per day.

Meeting Rooms

You can hire a meeting room at 5 libraries across the county.
There is a charge for the hire of library meeting rooms.
