Drop-in and join the fun!

As part of the summer fun in libraries, we have set up scavenger hunts for you to drop-in and enjoy. 

This is a fun and colourful family activity to celebrate The Summer Reading Challenge 2025.

No need to book or be a member, just drop-in!

Children under 8 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

Babies, toddlers and their parents or carers can have fun singing, playing musical instruments and learning rhymes in our libraries.

These events are free of charge.

For when a school, class, Beaver group etc, comes to the library. Library induction, reading for pleasure etc.

Class Visit

Business Plan Target: TBC physical class visits and school visits across the county. Offer virtual class visits (if schools would prefer virtual assembly).

Business Plan line numbers: TBC and TBC.

The Reading Friends group meet weekly at Bexhill Library to talk about reading and anything else that interests them. You don't have to read anything before the session and everyone is welcome so come along, meet new people and share stories together.

No booking is required and you don't have to be a library member to take part.

Free specialised support with online Family History and Genealogy research. You'll receive 1 to 1 help for 2 hours from an experienced volunteer with a passion for genealogy.
