We are delighted to welcome Sabotage Theatre back to our libraries this summer to perform After the Rain.

After the Rain takes children into a magical, musical world of discovery.

Ivy can’t wait for it to stop raining so she can go jump in puddles! But when she answers a call for help from a stranded worm she is led on a wild adventure. She sets off to find Mrs Bumpting the toad, meeting mystical mushrooms and all the wild creatures that come out when it's wet. Pursued by a council of crows and a barbershop quartet of singing snails, will Ivy make it home again in time for tea?

Suitable for ages 3 +

This event is free but booking is essential

Join Zoe from Nature Makers for a fun session of arts, crafts and mindfulness, using natural materials.  Nature inspires amazing creativeness, which gives children a real interest in their surroundings and makes them more environmentally aware.

Suitable for ages 4 and over. Booking is essential. All children under 8 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

This workshop is designed to equip you with essential life skills and help you navigate personal and professional challenges with confidence. Through activities, discussion and real-world scenarios we will help you develop skills like

This workshop is run with Education Futures Trust. 

This practical workshop will give you the essential money management skills to build financial independence.

Participants will learn the basics of budgeting, saving, and smart spending through interactive activities and real-life scenarios.

The session covers

• goal setting
• needs vs. wants
• tracking expenses
• making informed financial decisions

By the end of the workshop, you will have the tools and confidence to create and manage a personal budget effectively.

This workshop is being run with Education Futures Trust

Join us for Summer Holiday fun with the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation.  Learn about four different habitats where endangered animals live. Then get creative and design and make your own creature in cardboard and craft materials. 

Younger children will need support from a parent / carer.
