Children under five and their parents and care providers can enjoy storytelling in libraries. There’s no need to book, just turn up and enjoy the fun!

Please note: Our regular storytime session on 6th June 2025 will be replaced with a very special dual language, English and British Sign Language storytime instead! More information on this session is included below, or can be found on our website here. Our usual storytimes will commence again from the following week (13th June 2025). This week's story time is a special one - we'll be joined by East Sussex Hearing, who will be signing our stories alongside us, while we read them aloud in English.

Open to all, non-hearing and hearing alike. Come and enjoy the stories in your first language, or learn more about British Sign Language and d/Deaf culture.

Free event, no need to book. Just drop in to join in!
