This summer is full of fantastic sporting occasions including Euro 2024, Wimbledon as well as the Olympics and Paralympics in Paris starting later this month.

To highlight such a great summer of sport, we are celebrating The Big Sporting Read - a new national celebration of reading organised by the Arts Council and BBC Arts. You can choose a great read from our sporting list of 25 titles compiled by an independent panel of librarians and booksellers as well as look into joining local sporting clubs in your area via the East Sussex Community Information Service.
