This summer come and join our friends from Ashdown Forest for an afternoon of fun activities and stories that will help you find out more about the plants and animals that live there.
Suitable for ages 4 and over. Children under 8 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Booking is essential.
Join us for Summer Holiday fun with the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation. Learn about four different habitats where endangered animals live. Then get creative and design and make your own creature in cardboard and craft materials.
Younger children will need support from a parent / carer.
We are delighted to welcome Ed Boxall back to our libraries this summer to help us celebrate the launch of the 2025 Summer Reading Challenge: Story Garden.
Ed will be performing 'Creation Walk' and encouraging you to explore this Native American story with him. After the story you will be able to get your ideas flowing for creative crafts inspired by nature.
This event is suitable for all ages and booking is not required.
