Join us at Lewes library for a performance of Darwin's Cleaner - An engaging exploration of Victorian life through the eyes of Charles Darwin's servant. The play, set in the 19th century, delves into the life of the fictional character Henrietta Brown, who was born on the same day and in the same house as Darwin, but her mother is the cook.  Hen, as she is called, shares a life intertwined with the famed naturalist, offering a unique perspective on the Darwin household.

You are welcome to stay and chat to the actress and the writer after the performance.
