You can now watch a range of recorded National Theatre productions from the comfort of your local library in East Sussex.
We have added six extra National Theatre Live productions to the collection available to be enjoyed from the comfort of your nearest East Sussex County Council library.
The new titles include the 2024 production of The Importance of Being Earnest starring Ncuti Gatwa (above) and Sharon D. Clarke, Nye starring Michael Sheen, which has only recently finished its run at the National Theatre, and 2022’s revival of Pearl Cleage’s Blue for an Alabama Sky.
These titles are in addition to others available to watch including recent productions of Hamlet, Wuthering Heights and The Crucible starring the likes of Ralph Fiennes, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Rosalie Craig.
Access to the productions are only available in our libraries using one of our computers and cannot be accessed from home. You can book a computer at your local library by visiting our website. Please be aware that headphones will not be provided so make sure to bring your own.
