Silvie's father is a bus driver, but his real passion is British history. During the summer holidays, he takes his wife and teenage Silvie to an anthropology camp, where participants recreate life in the Iron Age with all its inconveniences. The camp is scientific in nature, but the fierceness and uncompromising character of Silvie's father turn it into a spectacle of male domination over the family. Passion becomes an obsession that leads to blind faith in the necessity of practicing ancient rituals, even at the cost of human life.
