Biography/History:
Best known for his award-winning Yorkshire based series featuring Daziel and Pascoe (now a successful TV series), Reginal Hill taught until 1980, when he decided to pursue writing full-time. Winner of the CWA Cartier Diamond Dagger Award for lifetime achievement, as well as the Golden Dagger Award for the Dalziel and Pascoe series, he also writes thrillers under the name Patrick Ruell. He lives with his wife in Cumbria.
