It's 1942 when Cassie Taylor reluctantly leaves Birmingham to become a land girl on a farm in Dorset. There she meets Robert and Steohen Denham, twins recovering from injuries sustained at Dunkirk. Margaret James is an accomplished writer of novels and short stories as well as a creative writing tutor. She also writes the monthly Fiction Focus including author interviews for Writing Magazine. She's a member of the Romantic Novelists' Association and a contributor to Loves Me, Loves Me Not, an anthology of short stories by Joanna Trollope, Katie Fforde and Choc Lit author Sue Moorcroft.
