Roy Clarke writes this feature-length episode which forms part of the 'Screen One' series about an old soldier who re-opens the past when he returns to the battlefield. The story focuses on two WWII veterans who return to the scene of their battles intent on visiting the grave of a fallen comrade. But with their visit, they re-open many old wounds from the past, re-igniting the tragedy of war.
