Children's adventure about the legend of a lake monster. When nine-year-old Jamie Williams (Walker Mintz) moves to a new lakeside village with his mum (Toni Hudson) and dad (Michael Paré) he hears stories of a mythical, 50-ft monster called Nessie that lives in the lake. Hoping to find out more, Jamie seeks out Captain Jack O'Grady (John Henry Richardson) who shows him that Nessie really does exist. Nobody believes Jamie's stories so he decides to try and get concrete proof himself. When he learns that a businessman plans to build a casino on the waterfront getting everyone to believe in the legend of Nessie becomes a matter of even more importance to the village.
